Who we are
INSIGHTWORKS LIMITED (“Insight Works”, “we”) is the data controller for personal data collected through www.insightworksng.com. We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 1523338. Our company address recorded with the Corporate Affairs Commission is 8 Association Street, Ashi–Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. What we collect
- Enquiry details you type into an enquiry form on this website: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number (optional), enquiry type and message.
- Request records kept by our hosting provider. Railway, which hosts this website, records each visit in its access logs: your IP address, your browser details (user agent), the page requested and the time. These records are available to us for a limited period that depends on our hosting plan.
- Spam protection. To stop automated and repeated submissions, the form uses a hidden field and a timing check, and our website uses your IP address to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one connection. That IP address is held in memory for no more than about 11 minutes.
- Operational records. When an enquiry is sent, our website records that it was sent, its enquiry type and a delivery reference. These records do not contain your name, contact details or message.
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not load content from other websites.
We do not sell personal information submitted through our website.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on it. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. We use request records and spam protection to keep the website running and secure.
Who receives it
Your enquiry is sent to our operations team. These service providers handle it on our behalf:
- Railway hosts the website and keeps the request records described above. The website runs in Railway’s European region, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
- Resend delivers each enquiry as an email to our mailbox and keeps a record of the messages it delivers.
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email; your enquiry is received and stored in our mailbox there.
Where your information is processed
The website itself runs in Railway’s Amsterdam, the Netherlands region. Railway, Resend and Microsoft 365 are international providers, and they may also store or process information in other countries, including countries outside Nigeria. By sending an enquiry, you should expect that your information will be handled outside Nigeria.
How long we keep it
We keep website enquiries and related personal information only for as long as we need them for legitimate business or legal purposes. We review these records periodically and delete or securely dispose of them when they are no longer required. Request records are kept by our hosting provider as described above.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email operations@insightworksng.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
